The bad news is they can do that. The good news is that credit is paid at the end of the trip so depending on the trip you might get more hours in the regular line month then you hoped.

Looks like we are only keeping 56 757-200s around, but they are all getting new interiors and will now hold 199. I don't think that includes the 757-200s set up for International/transcons though. Not sure how many of those have been modified, and obviously doesn't include the 757-300s.

If a reserve FO gets assigned a trip for the following day that has a CA receiving TOE and later that days gets the call that they have been removed due to being the senior FO, do they get any credit for the trip or just go back on call?

The total number should end up right around 74 plus the NBA aircraft if that deal is inked.

No, they just go back on Long Call. If he had reported, they would give him suit-up pay, which is towards guarantee (2 hrs).

Bummer! Thanks for the quick reply.

That always happens. Check and see what happened to Reagan and the R's, in 1986. (It was worse than what happened this year.) And then, who was elected in 1988, after we read his lips? :)

Now, the electoral map is a lot different. You can't get anywhere close to 270 by losing the Hispanic vote by more than a 2:1 margin.

Keep botching the immigration issue and see who keeps winning national elections. ;)

Can't disagree with the Hispanic contention. However, the Rs really haven't screwed that up. It's been both sides of the aisle. I believe BO's executive order is both unconstitutional and a seriously bad precedent. We'll see how it shakes out. I live in SoCal. I live (and pay for) the consequences of a poor immigration policy.

In any event, the country ain't buying the hopey changey thing anymore. It blew up. The Dem's squandered a 30 point lead in the 4th quarter. Honestly, I'd hoped BO would've been successful. We all would have prospered.

Instead, BO and Valerie Jarrett chose a different path. I don't believe it was some sort of evil agenda. I believe it was incompetence. You can't throw a guy into the left seat and expect him to fly a CAT III on the HUD.
