I heard the 321's will be "short range". Airbus asked for $20M/aircraft for (not sure) bigger fuel tank/s(?) Delta said no. So we will get 321 limited to apprx 1500 nm hard range.
To try to answer your question - ATL/DTW/NYC? Short/high density/east coast?

Don't forget a hotel for all Qualification training. Back in the "good ol' days" if you were an ATL commuter and got a bid requiring training in the ATL, it was back to the crashpad for you! That alone is a game changer in a good way.

Commuters also get a hotel for CQ if they live > 80 miles away from the training center, and they also get positive space to and from, even if based in ATL. Neither was the case when I got hired 18 years ago.

Believe it or not about a year ago I actually flew with a captain--and commuter to boot!--who didn't think we should have the jumpseat or any of the above benefits, even though he himself availed himself of them. I didn't think that any of those guys remained.

Borrowing from next years sick off disability
Better DH seating
Commuter policy
Flight att Jumpseat use
Better RR rules

Those are off the top of my head since the 1113 contract
My 2 cents:
Add 3 extra weeks of vacation per pilot per year.
You will get a happy group of dudes who are not sweating small stuff.

Good luck and thanks for serving!

The 321 is the exact same category as the 320/319. They will be flown interchangeably on the same trip, even on the same day.

Its anyone's guess on pay, but we got rolled with the 737-900 so I'm not expecting much at all beyond similar gains there.

Is that true?

Sent via Timbo's satelite phone on his boat where I am desperately trying to plug this huge hole caused by Jameis Winston and 80ktsclamp.

I agree - I looked at my category (73n) and of the 5 day trips, probably 80% have some credit. Some have a lot (4 ish hours on a 29 hour trip). Anyway - "what's the deal with credit on a 5 day" if they are trying to reduce credit by making 5 day trips.

Sent via Timbo's phone as he's busy between in bed with Pillow and Sheets in Dubai.

I was told Delta is getting the long range version of the 321. Even that version however is not a true transcon aircraft. We are getting the tanks and shark lets. American and Jetblue are making it work by limiting the number of seats. At the flight ops meeting they said the 737-900 and the 757 will be our transcon aircraft and the 321 will be more of a north south aircraft for the Florida and Caribbean markets.

If there was any doubt that you are pulling hard for management, it's been erased by your cherry picking.

I'll give you a chance to list the giveaways and concessions we've accepted during the same period. Go ahead.
Tons of concessions while in bankruptcy. We all know that. The list was improvements since then. And yes reroute has improved and if we win the grievance just filed it will improve a lot more.
