Hey guys, I'm going to my son's preschool class on Friday to talk to them about flying. My wife, while non-revving last month through ATL found these Delta coloring books for kids. She is asking me to try to find some to take to the class. She has two so I would need 10 more. I live outside Chicago...about 50 minutes from ORD so it's kind of a long drive to see if they have them there.

Any idea who I could call to see if I could get them co-mailed to me? Thanks.

I think those coloring books come from catering. Call your chief pilots' office and ask. Im sure they can send you some next day FED-EX. You might have to pay for the shipping.

Call 800-USA-ALPA.

RA provides free coloring books to DALPA. All they can use. I'm sure they can spare a couple. :D

Wow, that's funny! I knew they were getting a great deal.

I read about more jets on chitchat which confirms the rumor of more jets.

Jets jets jets jets!

They mentioned something yesterday about more jets. Let me find the transcript.

So as far as I know Timbo is the only Patriots fan around here? Denny Crane is our resident Seahawks fans. Well, I could go over to the Alaskan thread and find more of them, some like to post drunk while watching the games. :D So pathetic. ;)

Anyways, if I may, I have some advice for Denny Crane. Check Timbo's balls and make sure they're hard before you play with them.

That is all.

Found the quote from yesterday.

Well, I think the first order of use is going to continue to reduce our net debt and the second order of use is going to be higher cash returns for our owners. Now, that’s subject to our Board approval and I’ve got to be careful about not getting to far out there before going through the five year plan. But, our fleet can run at this level of CapEx very easily for a very long period of time on our fleet so we don’t see some big fleet order coming. We think there’s going to be an opportunity for a bunch of used airplanes for us at some point here giving all the NEO deliveries in the narrow body world. We just placed our wide body order, we’re fine on wide bodies so the fleets in good shape and the run rate cap ex that you saw this year, the $2.1, that vicinity is a good run rate because we’ve got to keep our ROIC above that 18% so it’s going to reduce debt and higher shareholder cash returns.
More used NB jets. Any guesses? My guess would be used A320s to replace MD-88s when airlines finally take delivery of NEOs. I made that up, but it's a guess.

Done with ordering WBs.

Well, I think the first order of use is going to continue to reduce our net debt and the second order of use is going to be higher cash returns for our owners exclusive of "team members". On our fleet we don’t see some big fleet order coming. We think there’s going to be an opportunity for a bunch of used airplanes for us at some point here giving all the NEO deliveries in the narrow body world.

We just placed our wide body order, we’re fine on wide bodies especially considering the JV's we are putting into place and the lose language we have with our pilot group which specifies no penalties for non compliance. Our JV partners can do most of the heavy lift in the years to come.

...so it’s going to reduce debt and higher shareholder cash returns. We will use a reduction in Profit Sharing to fund any raises for "team members" and we've got a group of guys ready to sell it for us. Most of my comments regarding profit sharing up until this point were to throw a wrench into labor relations between Doug and their pilots at American Airlines, which we do not like. Once they ink an agreement we will go back to horse trading profit sharing for raises at our own airline.
Fixed it for you.
