Lots of junior guys got onto the NYC 765 right seat too.

They're all doing it out of seniority. :p

If you bid the 765, you better love cavity searches in London. 9 months of the year, it's 6 day trips with 2 London layovers, unless you're really senior.

I've seen enough of London this summer, they can have it.

Junior CA now into 2010 new hires. 5 years on property. Not bad.

But Delta didn't hire between 2010-2014, so if the trend continues, the next AE or so should give us an NYC M88A with a 11,1XX. That's a 2014 new hire.
Upgrading going to 2 years in couple of months....

It'll probably hit 2014 hires, however, I'd imagine that once there is enough junior guys in the seat, you'll see some people senior to them start to bid in. Not many people want it at the plug, but at 75% or so, it might be a different story. Just my opinion.

This is generally how things go. Doesn't make it any less impressive, though!

I think I might fall over if I saw a DL captain under 40 years old. :p

I'm 34 and would be holding a line as CA in NYC!

Nice. I can't remember, what seat are you in now? Plans to move when you hit a certain percentage seniority in left seat?

Aren't there some Delta pilots in their late 20's that can already hold captain or very soon?

You know the look a young regional captain gets from the passengers now and then. Wait for the look they will give their late 20's, early 30's Delta mainline captain. Now imagine that guy as the captain and the 45 year old military first officer with 20+ years of experience. ;)
