Sounds like Delta IT is making improvements again

Noob question, can your one annual apd be used regardless of reserve levels? Thanks

Not quite. The formula is in the contract, but in a nutshell, req/avail must be positive all days for a PD, and is significantly less restricted for APD. There is a point at which APDs are denied, and there may be carve outs for all major holidays. If you want the days off, go ahead and leave the PD standing, the req/avail numbers can change even during the PCS run

Copy, thanks. Is there a limit how far in advance you can put in an apd request?

You can't put them on top of an APD, I tried and was told unable. If you use a single day of APD to drop a 4 day trip, you can put the PB days on the 3 days which are not the APD, but not the APD itself.

I highly recommend the brand Bison Mountain. I think it's a SWA pilot who owns the company. I have one of their backpacks and absolutely love it. Very well made.

You can use prior year PB days on top of an APD for Jan, Feb & Mar only. I used my APD in January to drop a 12 day Pacific trip and got full pay by using 12 PB days. For Jan-Mar you have to PD or APD your trip and then manually call crew scheduling and instruct them to replace your PD/APD with PB days and it will be done.

Just that the trip in question has to be actually on your schedule in iCrew--in practice, that's typically the 15th or so (NLT 17th) of the month prior. Otherwise, no time limit per se.

Anyone did the prodiem yet. I tried downloading my trips through the app. It did not complete the flight log portion.

I've had that problem two years running with prodiem. Three different computers. Finally gave up and went back to Flightline.

They don't do it that way anymore. You now export your PAS, add your training dates, and send it in. Done.
