It's certified for beards. If not you had better not allow a unshaven flight attendant in the cockpit. You're correct however it does not have the face plate.

There is a placard on the underside of the mask that says will not seal with beards.

That, and how come his neck didn't break when he landed on his head in the 4th quarter! Damn!

Because his neck is thicker than your thigh, and twice as strong!

War Cam! :D

Great point. And going further, any pilot who flies a green slip is hurting every pilot on property because if people didn't fly greenslips the company would be forced to hire more pilots.

Or they are deciding what is best for them and theirs under the PWA.

I never understood this viewpoint when the company obviously is hiring pilots. So many in fact they can't keep up with training. But yea, doing Greenies and whites when not hiring or furloughs is not cool, despite what the contract says

Why are you bringing this up? Who GAS?

We're trying to get a contract here. Which you have done your best to undercut.

Seriously Drank??? There are 75,000 other threads in the Delta TA section for you to go on about the contract negotiations. The L&G thread has always been about random musings and occasional side and under boob. I find the humor in this topic entertaining and in no way serious enough to bring up in contract negotiations. But now that it pi**ed you off, I will bring it up when UNH calls me.

Hey, it's in the news that FSU is paying the supposedly "non-raped" Jameis victim $950K in a settlement.

I suppose FSU made enough on Jameis to support that cost..... but as a taxpayer I hate the thought that I'm paying for Jameis to bust a nut!

I know our contract says (or used to say) the 'cap' (ALV now?) had to be at 75 hours for 3 months, prior to any furlough, which was to keep guys from flying 'too much' with guys on furlough. It would be nice if we could also get put into our contract this time around, that as soon as we enter Mediation, there will be NO GREENSLIPPING or FLYING OVER THE ALV!

OR, if guys won't give up their GS gravy train, perhaps it should specify that EVERY GS will be With Conflict only once we enter Mediation, until we've approved a new contract. Not at TA, but a successful membership ratification.

If that violates Status Quo, then perhaps we should have it written in that the GSWC ONLY flying will begin 3 months prior to exchange of contract openers.

You may not end up paying that bill, I'm guessing that Jameis will quietly make a sizeable scholarship 'contribution' to FSU, in the same amount!
