Exactly. One of my BP riders got stuck in SYD. Eventually bought tickets SYD-HNL-LAS to get home. Of course they ignored some of my advice so they got into that situation, but what BP rider doesn't? :D

Does anyone know why TC is on Administrative Leave? I normally don't read DPA emails but I was bored tonight.

Maybe he was wearing an orange lanyard in the crew room and refused to remove it when challenged....

I've received four separate inverse assignment calls in the last 21 hours. Back to my TWD binge...

It's crazy isn't it? I moved just north of Senoia and figured I was now probably duty-bound to start watching. I caught up last week, love that show!

Recurrent

Quick question. I looked in the student version of the instructor guide (DIG) and could only find a one page description of the the recurrent sim. Not the normal complete briefing guide. Is the complete briefing guide no longer available? I am on the 777 with sims 604/644.

Thanks

Sucks when you catch up and actually have to wait a week between episodes.....

Flew with a SLI (73N) a few weeks ago and he I think he said the student DIG was going away for some reason. Cant recall why. He thought all the sim info will be in the ppt briefs - which you can view on the fleet training page. Not 100% sure about this. I would call the training department. Let us know what you find out.

I'm going to 777 recurrent on Friday and noticed the same thing, not much info on the 604/644, but there are power point slides if you want to sit through all of that.

I liked it better when I could just print out the SET pages and take it with me to study.... on the layover of course.

They might just be behind in getting the new cycle info printed and posted, as I think it just rolled over to a new training cycle? Seems like every time I show up the IP says, "Well, we just got this new cycle stuff and I haven't seen it yet so bear with me while I get the sim set up...."

It (Administrative Leave) could be the result of several things DPA has put out, or all things together. The billboard, the whistle blower lawsuit or the no greenslip letter they put out. I know DALPA was sued in our C2K negotiations for a status quo violation by advocating not flying overtime, so maybe that's what this is all about?

Odd that the company would come after a DPA guy when DPA is not our collective bargaining agent.
