Hey guys. Do Delta allow you to add your spouses parents to your travel benefits? Thanks

Delta do not allow you to add your spouses parents, only step parents, and "partners" both of which was a change after merging with those heathens from the north.

Thanks. I know buddy passes are essentially worthless but Delta still has those, correct?

8 round trip a year. Worthless is a bit of a stretch. Domestically hard to justify due to fares available and high loads. Overseas flts they are very useful if you know someone that wants to international travel.

Thank you. I guess worthless was too harsh. I was thinking domestic. My wife's parents live in Korea so her mom would be using the buddy passes to get to the states. I guess that's better than paying full fare.

I wouldn't call them worthless. Hard to use domestically and a bit expensive, but internationally they are great. My cousin has used them a handful of times and always gotten to/from where he's going in Europe, often in Biz class.

So if you PD or use a PB day to drop a reserve day you are then not allowed to move that off day? Another great scheduling rule we have here at Delta.

So can buddy pass riders go international without the employee traveling with them? I thought there were some restrictions on buddy passes going international.

Yes they can. The restriction to watch out for are BP embargo days and payload optimized flights. Those can get a buddy pass rider stuck for days.

Does anyone know why TC is on Administrative Leave? I normally don't read DPA emails but I was bored tonight.

Which TC are you talking about?

The founder of DPA or the ALPA National President?
