Not a week goes by that I don't get a comment about my age from a customer.. Oh well

I'm 46 but, I think I was 31-32 when I checked out left seat on the DC-9. I got recalled 5 years later, then got the bid for the 75/76 when I was 42. When that training burst ended, there was a guy 2 years younger than me on the list. (Even though he's a Cubs fan, he's a good guy. :D. )

With that being the case, I'm sure there are plenty of captains under 40 out there, so wear a helmet. :D

Me too! These stem cells are really paying dividends for my ego.

Nice. I can't remember, what seat are you in now? Plans to move when you hit a certain percentage seniority in left seat?

I'm an A320 FO, but in the training department...as such not allowed to participate in AEs! No clue what their plans are with me!

This is why no one will ever be as cool as newK!

They tell me to wear a helmet, but for different reasons.

Ha! Everyone is cooler than NewK now. None of the guys/gals I fly with get my Godfather impersonation anymore - and it's good! :D

....don't they know if they had come to me in friendship, the scum that had ruined their daughter would have been suffering this very day?

I just flew with a 36 yr old NYC M88A. We both think he's the youngest in the company for now

When I flew at CX, we had a 33 yr old B777TC(Training Captain….Line Check Airmen, same thing)!

I know a 764/763/762?/753/752 Captain at UAL who I don't believe has got to 40 yet. He was an 05 hire and I think upgraded at year 8.

There's a ua (Cal) female capt 764/etc I ran into once, nice as could be. Definitely mid 30s when upgraded. Hired around early 2000s I think.

Got to be careful with this stuff - "I am so young and a Captain already".
Could get into your head.
In 20 years in the sim I have seen a good share of gifts to aviation.
