I love that podcast!

If you like freakanomics try "planet money" as well. Both can be very enlightening!

You might like Radiolab. One of the very best podcasts out there.

FWIW, after 5 years of furlough, BK, stolen pension, lost decade due to age 65, JV concessions, proactive engagement, and all around corporate malfeasance, some noob venting about how he got a raw deal sometimes doesn't sit too well. It rankles like a boot whining about drawing fire watch.

I'll second this, they are both great podcasts.

It's like your even-steven!

Throw a twenty out the window and see what happens....

Eh, phone rang. One leg, 30+ hours off, one leg home. I don't know how that happened, but I'll take it.

I still feel like someone owes me a beer for getting a greenie cause I didn't answer the phone at 130.

But this trip works.

Planet money is awesome. The way they edit the sound on Radiolab gives me a headache.

Can somebody help with this reserve question?

I am full for the month. I know if I GS I'm just flying for straight pay. That said, will they put the PB days on top of my "full" days at the end of this month or do I get to carry them into a future month?

If I get to carry them over, would I have the same luck using them on x-mas as say an APD?

Thanks!

On my category its kind of the opposite thing going on. We could have 0 coverage day after day, put out 7 GSs (sometimes with a GS#2) in one day but still have in the middle of that 2 WSs go out and those are to the most senior pilots in category. The junior pilots do the GSs. But these WS trips are also the premium two day trips, the old drop your schedule and ws type trips.

To each his own.

I'm almost positive you will NOT get to carry them over. I think they will put them over your "full" on call days at the end of GS. (In the same month of course) It's like whitesliping on a regular line.

To be 100% positive, call scheduling or the union and ask.

I will call the union. I spoke with scheduling and she said they would carry over but she didn't sound very sure of herself.

On a happy note, I was able to APD xmas off for my jr @ss. Right in the middle of a 4 day block of reserve. I'm pretty happy to be home for the holiday and I just made it a lot harder to use me on the surrounding days.
