"Practice in the instructions until you are comfortable before going on to the test. It is much easier to understand after doing the practice a couple times."

This.

I practiced on one of the tests at least 10 times until I was sure. After all was done, I went to the proctor to apologize for how many times I asked for a reset and he laughed. He said he didn't care if somebody asked him 100 times to reset. He would do it until someone came in to tell everyone to go home. Like everything else on your interview, this is big. Make sure you're comfortable before proceeding.

Off topic,...

perhaps I'm blind, or stupid, or both.....

I can not for the life of me figure out how and where an actual link exist to download the Navtech PBS desktop application.

I've looked at the Installing Desktop PBS Guide and there are no active links to install, what am I missing?

I've tried Explorer 11 and Google Chrome, no luck.

Lil' help please?

Humboldt

Edit: I'm a mac user and am using Windows via Bootcamp.

Login to PBS, go to the "Settings" page. Two links, one for the program download (large-ish, 35MB or so) and one for the config file (tiny, around 1K).

There are probably direct links floating around on DLnet, too, but this one works....

Got an interview with Delta 29 Sep and have a question on the "Numbers Sequence" cog sub-test (this is the one with the 4 corner boxes and a box in the center and you have to count up by one with numbers, letters and then numbers/letters together).....

The best gouge that I could find out there said the following: "The idea is to click the boxes off in alphabetical order, always knowing where the next letter in the alphabet is going to be when the next set of 5 boxes come up (the number or letter that is forecast does not change positions when it pops up again."

Question: so does this mean if I'm on the number "10" in the bottom left of the screen and I click on "10" that "11" will be in some predictable position, for example, every "next" number or letter is moving in a clockwise direction? If I'm just trying to discover the 'pattern' of where to move my light pen to then what's the point of memorizing "1A, 2B", etc? I gotta be missing something.

Thx again!

Go to cogres.com. Click on psychometric technologies. Click on CogScreen. There's a video of each of the tests.
