2) its easy to misinterpret the battery status. The tablet charges "separately" from the keyboard. They charge one at a time up to certain percentages. At first glance it might say "plugged in not charging" for one of the two components but the other one is charging. Make sure you click on the battery status icon in the system tray at the bottom of the screen and see if one of them is charging.

It's down to 30% and I have a lot of flying starting early. I guess it'll be back to paper charts. These rests online have a lot to do with wiping the thing out which isn't an option.

One other thing I've done with mixed results is flip the power connector 180 degrees where it joins the surface. Somebody else mentioned the blue light on the plug, I check for the white light at the tip of the connector, like 2 or 3 small white bands of light tells me it has power.

I love it when I'm about to get a GS and some dude WS, they're needs to be a man code on that. I hope he just needed to get over the cap. Thats the code.

Not as bad as an out of base WS going to a guy that can't hold a position in base. Those need more than a man code.
