You are giving Barry far too much credit. International leaders see him for the joke that he is....This was more than an attack on Jordan this was an attack on a US led coalition.....and we are doing nothing and the WORLD knows it.

Just a question for you guys:

Why exactly are some of the Arab countries fighting ISIS right now? Ie., why was it a Jordanian pilot who was executed and not an American? Did they just jump into the fight on their own?

"I think we should start seeing other people".

what the $%$# does being part of Skyteam mean if you codeshare with a Oneworld flagship carrier? KAL is still on the Skyteam website. Sky team took them back after their dreadful safety record in the 90's/2000's.
Maybe this is AA revenge for trying to poach JAL from Oneworld a few years ago?

They already do, I got a discount on mine even as a 9E pilot. Porsche is part of the VW group.

There is actually a pretty large coalition against ISIS you can see the resources here UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Turkey even Saudi are involved

Who Has Contributed What in the Coalition Against the Islamic State? | Foreign Policy

ISIS is a threat to their sovereignty more than anyone else's. This is an invasion by terrorists.

When did the coalition start and why? Who started it? Who recruited countries into it?

These are my best answers from the information I have been following over the last 6 months.

Why to Combat ISIS

When July and August 2014

Who started it supposedly us and Iran

I think the recruitment has been mostly UK, Canada and Australia

If we won't buy their oil, they will just grow their airlines to burn the oil and fund their economies that way. That is why they don't care if they have 200 fuel guzzling A-380's.

There is no way they can even come close to replacing oil revenues with airlines. Even then, they are heavily dependant on massive foreign subsidies for their aircraft as well as foreign defense charity and ridiculous one sided reciprocity agreements.

We should immediately cut their subsidies, send them a bill for the 5th fleet and limit the number of flights they can do to our country to match what we do to theirs. Its what, 3 or 4 a day? That oughta about cover it.

Didn't they just suspend airstrikes against ISIS as well? Yet we still defend them and pay them to take our AC to use against us in an outright attack against our airline industry, labor laws and regulations across the board?
