I just drove from DCA to the ATL. The police are everywhere!! Lots of tickets being written on this Labor Day. There were 10 Georgia state patrol cars on the 85 between the Road Atlanta exit and Gwinnett Center. Local and county po po the rest of the way. Drive safe!! The only reason I didn't get a ticket was my wife's use of the Waze app. Drivers ahead of us were plotting cops on the map. We just had to slow down as we approached!! I love this app!!!!! |

Welcome to the interstate tax revenue enhancement system in GA. Your local police and Sheriffs should be out patrolling the streets for crime. Instead they are all out on the interstates writing tickets for revenue. Sometimes the locals and highway patrol are tripping over each other!

I'm pretty sure you do it under the "Training/VTS" tab in ICrew.

If they gave each other tickets, would that be considered revenue-sharing?

You laugh but like the Jumpseat wars that pop up in the airlines the police get in ticket wars now and then. The CHP and local agencies have had more then their share.
No kids, crossing guards or other vehicles in sight. She was ****ed, which I get, but I figure if government needs money to run - might as well get that money from people that operate outside the rules. Otherwise, they have to get more money from law abiders. Incentivizes playing by the rules and penalizes those that don't. I'm on board. |

I have to admit, I still just don't understand how it relates to the airline industry. :) |
