You guys should all move to Florida and stop paying GA income tax! :D

Timbo,
I hear commuting out of Tampa is a breeze !! First class seats 90% of the time !! Should be shorter drive than lousy old MCO.....heh heh..Trust me !

Fellow MCO Commuter:eek:

I was in FC today from ATL-MCO, but most days I'm on the Jumpseat and they are starting to replace some of the 757's from ATL-MCO with MD88's and 737's. Tampa is 30 miles longer drive for me than MCO, and MCO has a F/A base so I get free parking, and they have hourly flights to ATL.

SRQ would be a little bit closer, and much less traffic, but they only run 5 Mad Dogs a day to ATL, and the parking is very expensive from what I've heard.

KLM and AZ are both ZED medium, but my experience with the French has been, well, French. AMS has slightly fewer flights, but both have reasonable coverage. Loads out of both don't look too bad. So which hub/airline combination will be easiest?

AMS anytime over CDG pm me with questions

Second that, even as a paying customer. CDG blows for connecting.

...speaking of connecting through AMS, I am taking my first international flight on DL tomorrow from DTW (also my first time there). Can't wait to experience DL international! :)

The brits pop an engine in dramatic fireball right after takeoff and still continue to 5000 miles to destination. Why are we diverting so much?

Well for example you can't fly 6600 miles when the flaps will not retract.

They ran out of gas and did not quite make it to the destination. The diverts did not seem to have a pattern. They were mechanical and all appeared to be well handled by the flight crews.

Keep in mind that Florida is not a low tax state. The don't have a income tax but if you are thinking about moving there the other taxes will more then make up for it. Property tax if not grandfathered is eye watering.

So is it our maintainance? We fly plenty of older aircraft without these problems. Is the outside vendor that does the heavy checks not up to par?

Isn't there a happier way to say that? I thought I saw something about UTe scoring 38.....
