No. He was an RJ pilot for ExpressJet, I believe, before being hired. He was all over the regional boards and another forum (JC) long before Lumberg got the heave ho. +717!!

You know you'd think you guys would have the decency to invite me to those meetings considering how much i have contributed. Just think of all the bulletins, newsetters and manual updates thay have had to be written because of things I have done?

Delta Boosts Dividend 50%, Unveils $5 Billion Buyback - WSJ

5 billion reasons why this next TA shouldn't be concessionary.

With that announcement of a $5B buy back the NC team should put the 2004+inflation pay rate on the table and say that is all we want changed. No other change to the contract just that and then leave the room.

I'd like minimum 20% in the 401k too...

Good job Trip7...

I agree with Scambo. He hasn't been here for the past 15 years. If he wants to vote yes, fine. But to be actively advocating like he has, while not having lost a pension or going through what we did from 2003-2010 is pushing things a little.

Don't get me wrong, we all are allowed to voice our opinions. We are all on the same team. But for a new hire to be calling out guys who've been here for a decade or three about the rumors floating around and their feelings about them is crossing the line.

I'm doubtful he's a new hire anyway.
Just another reinvention of the same old lumberg/av8r pretending to represent a demographic of our pilot group.

Trip,
Please show me where I've ever mentioned retro anything.

You weren't here for the sacrifices that made this company what it is. You are riding coat tails and preaching. If I ever meet you in person, you will be the first new hire I didn't pick up the tab for.

There is a line, you are over it.

These posts beat me to it. He wasn't here to forfeit half his pay along with his retirement and an unpaid vacation. His skin in the game (just the tip) is lacking compared to some he's preaching to. You know what they say about opinions...

I think you're probably right. We have a group of these "drive-by" posters that just shoot, then run. Between Lumberg, Sharpest Tool, and that creepy av8r dude, it does make you wonder. I didn't realize it, but the creepy av8r dude wasn't just banned, his profile has been completely removed from APC.

Trip7 is definitely in that mold of drive-by posters.

Carl
