I agree with you. I see it all the time on the -88. I used to call it to the captain's attention. I stopped speaking up unless I really fear for my safety because I have found that guys know exactly what they are doing and are doing it intentionally. Most guys just ignored me. Was this taught in the military? Honest question because it is not an anomoly or one individual. I feel like I'm in the minority vertical speeding with the g/s until capture.
The particular person I am thinking about did that in JAX. Then in BHM. BHM. :mad: At night. Right downwind. South of the "mountains." Cleared visual. FAF altitude 2200'. Towers abeam marker 2100' AGL. :mad: |
