It is a 1 hr buffer. 30 is 31 hrs. in PBS

It looks like the A321's are planned for delivery with one jumpseat only. It's worth a discussion with your CP.

I did. Here's how it went:

Carl: Hey what the ****! Why are the A321's only coming with 1 jumpseat?

Chief Pilot: Who the hell told you that?

Carl: Sailingfun

Chief Pilot: I think we're done here...don't you think?

Carl: Yup...I'll just let myself out.

Chief Pilot: Where's your hat Spackler?

Wrong as usual. They will have 2 jumpseats. That was settled at least 5 months ago.

Still waiting for what your reps told you about the compensation proposal! It was a very credible former NW Airbus check airman who stated they would only have one seat.
Did the CP ask you about your hat or sick leave?

Captain tools me this today:

Q: Do you know why FOs only get paid 2/3rds of what a Captain makes?

A: Because they only do 2/3rds of the work.

pbs question

If I do not specify min or max what does the computer build to? Our alv was 79 and I had a line built to 76:45 with trips I wanted but it gave me different trips. Thanks

It will build to the "Threshold" and then stop. What was your category's run threshold? Look at the top of the Wide Report, it's the number after the little t.

One of the reasons the bid runs take so long is, they will do several runs and change the threshold for each new run, see how much open time is left over, see how high the stacks are, tweak the numbers and run it again, until the company gets a run they like. Once your line has enough trips on it to be above the threshold, it stops putting trips on your line.

I miss the Flight Engineer. He did all the work for half the pay!
