Baja.
Wow! I've had the opposite experience. I've been running Windows 7 and 8 computers since both OS's were released and they've been running great. I haven't seen a BSOD since the Vista days. Both my Android phones and tablets run perfectly, also. Yet my daughter's iPhone is slow and locks up.

Same here.

I've had Windows 8 for about a year with no problems. The only thing I get is issues with IE which is the norm. Use Firefox and you won't have any problems with Windows 8. Looks like we can all upgrade to Windows 10 as well. They say they have all the IE issues fixed with the new Spartan browser.

Android phone is way better than all the iphones we have in the house. Slap in a microSD card for extra storage and a new battery for $39 vs. buying a new iPhone for $399 when the battery goes bad or your teenage daughter has a meltdown because she is out of storage space.

Same here. My son got so fed up with his iPhone, he went android and is very happy now. And with the computers at 1/3 of the cost of a comparable apple I can upgrade or replace for years and still come out ahead.

I'm up for that bet...EFB is my second MS Surface device, no problems yet, love it.

I will say spending 3x as much on a laptop so you can have an apple logo for everyone to see doesn't make much sense. I must not be an "arteest."

Windows RT was not the best choice, DAL should have gone with the Surface pro with the full version of windows. That way we can all go to Windows 10 when it comes out later this year. Endeavor is supposed to get the surface later this year, but with all the issues, it looks like that will slip into next year.

Apple is a glorified case modding company, with all those resources, you would think they could develop something of their own.

Default Listing for JS on American

Trying to list for an American JS via the DALPA website instructions. I am logged into the myIDTravel site but can not find anything about JS. Everything wants a ticket number.

How do I list for a jump seat on this site?

Thanks Scoop

I think you hit the "nail on the head." Windows RT was a poor choice and might be the reason some people are having issues. I don't like not being able to load native Windows applications on my tablet. I think the full windows 8.1 is a much more stable platform. That being said, I've had zero issues with my Surface so far.

Did they give you guys full control over the surface, or did IT lock out some functions?

It looks like full control. The big limitation is Windows RT.
