The IGW330 looks pretty good in the revised Delta livery:

Staffers on these aircraft think they are in charge and some believe flight attendant instructions are optional. Also, as you can imagine, there are other pieces to this besides tower.

Amen! You don't get paid extra for night visuals.

Do you guys really think they have some incompetent jokers flying the president around?
If I may, I'd like to point out 3 things:

A) Timbo had the same problem.

So there. End of story. Period. Timbo. If Timbo can't do it, AF1 can't either.

But also I should point out:

B) If I remember right it was very hazy, and

C) Although the likelihood of small arms fire in Cleveland that requires evasive maneuvers is high, we all make mista... are sometimes in positions where physics and our intentions... coupled with ATCs mistakes... cannot be reconciled in a smooth fashion.

Credit Cards. They need to advertise credit cards. If they can have the FA's make PAs about signing up for a credit card, and then walking down the aisle to see if anyone wants to sign up, at 5:40 in the AM while passengers are boarding then they could surely paint them on the bottom of the jet.

Just make sure that when the main gear doors open you don't end up with something like this:

And especially this

We really don't need that.

We heard the same exchange between AF1 and ATC and enjoyed a good laugh as we watched the big bird crank around in a big circle just below us. I cannot believe that was 11 years ago!

I was over on that Coex D terminal with my back turned to the whole thing. I couldn't see it with my own eyes but I could hear the exchange and I remember thinking did that just really happen? I remember looking to the left and seeing all the other E145s like us just sitting there mid push.

Emirates has been painting its name on the belly for a while. Not too excited we are copying them.
