If I was the Seahawks Offensive coordinator I would've bypassed the locker room, and taken a cab straight to the unemoyment line. Terrible call.

That was a great game. It went right down to the wire. The Seahawks will be forever second guessed for calling that play. All I can say is what a disappointment.:(

But you make a valid point about jelalousy. But believe it or not I don't hate Saban. I doubt he's likeable because he seems so insufferable but it's mutual respect for what he does. But that doesn't matter, the type of personality it takes to do what they do is probably not the same you want in a bedside nurse. I do think Carol and Meyer are a bit slimy about how they left their programs in taters but they're incredibly good and amazing to watch. Every organization has an ugly side though. In cfb what I do hate is trash talking sidewalk fans, who typically are the loudest. I also don't like to hear the term WE in reference to a team. You can be alumni and you're not we. Youre defiantly not a WE if you have only set foot there on a Saturday in the fall. Heck you can be on the team and not be a we. My roommate who was the starting fb at auburn gave my other roommate who was a walk on practice squad guy hell about him saying WE. He had a point. I try to never say we. If you say We, you're really just a we we. |

This is what is a bit confusing to me. Why do you guys hate coaches like Carol, Sabin, and Myer? My last FO told me it was because they ruined the programs they coached for: Florida, USC, and Sabin, by moving around too much, LSU. But, to me, that a BS excuse. None of those programs would have won National Championships without those coaches. Me thinks ;) there are other reasons why you guys hate these teams and coaches and you should be honest with yourselves why that is. I'm pretty honest with myself. I hate the Packers because they beat the crap out of the Bears-- every game, every year. I admit it. Maybe you guys hate Alabama, Ohio State, South Carolina (I forgot. A lot of people hate Steve Spurier.), & the Seahawks because they perpetually beat the crap out of your teams, too? Or, do you have real legitimate reasons why you hate these guys? If so, I'm all ears. So, why exactly were you happy to see the Seahawks lose, "especially in the manner in which they did," Buzz? I wouldn't place a whole lot of praise at Carroll's feet for his accomplishments at USC either. I'm really not a college football fan, and I really don't care for USC, but he's generally vilified in these parts. He boogied out of town on the heels of sanctions that almost killed the program. Their championship and wins were redacted and Reggie Bush gave back the Heisman Trophy. Not exactly a legacy to be proud of. So, "hate?" No. Just happy when karma makes an appearance. And that picture of Richard Sherman crying? Priceless.:D |

Denny One of the best Super Bowl's ever. I can certainly feel your pain. Bonehead move on Bevell and Carroll's part. That was the game. I understand bonehead coaching decisions too. The Packers will forever second guessed for their play calling down the stretch against Seattle. Their special teams coach got fired yesterday (he actually should have been years ago). The Hawks are in great shape for another run next year. Let's just hope it goes through Lambeau. ;) Still owe you dinner! Buzz |

You would think with a shuttle type of operation they would want a pilot base just to have some reserves available. Also, 88 aircraft can easily support 4 Pilot Bases. Remember when we only had 16 MD-90s and the traveling MD-90 base? DFW then SLC then MSP and then finally absorbed into the 88 Bases when we purchased additional aircraft. What do you guys think, LAX 717 base or not? Scoop |
