Can anyone recommend an accountant in the SLC or Park City area who is familiar with doing pilot taxes? I'm a new hire and have always done it myself but I think it's time to turn it over to the pros. Danke!

Anyone know the current layover hotel in FLL. Trying to find a option under 500.00 for the Miami boat show.

The chief executives of American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines recently joined together to quietly lobby the Obama administration to restrict access by fast-growing rivals based in the Persian Gulf. They cited unfair competition from the Middle East carriers Emirates, Etihad Airlines and Qatar Airways, which they say receive large government subsidies that put domestic carriers at a disadvantage. |

If you don't run a side business or have rentals, get the Prodiem report and go with TurboTax or the H&R block program. Pilot taxes are not as difficult as people lead you to believe if you get the Prodiem report. |

Just to clarify, you're opposed to any concessions. Is that correct?

It turns out the helicopter Brian Williams was riding in DID get hit by enemy fire. CNN spoke exclusively with the pilot of Williams' chopper:
...Rich Krell, who was piloting the Chinook that Williams was on, tells a slightly different story than the crew members who spoke to Stars and Stripes. ... Williams was in the back of Krell's aircraft along with three other NBC staffers. Krell referred to his Chinook as the "second bird" in the formation. The "first bird," right in front of the "second bird," was struck by the RPG. ... All three of the helicopters were hit by small arms fire, Krell said, supporting Williams' past claims about that. ... The three Chinooks took evasive maneuvers. Krell's helicopter dropped off its payload, then met up with the other two about 45 minutes later. That may explain why the other crew members told Stars and Stripes that Williams arrived in the area later. |
Delta is feeling generous with it's growing stockpile of cash these days. Hopefully that equates to historic pay raises for it's pilot group.
