Another thing Is the senior guys don't wait and let their cherry one leg out one leg back trips go to greenies.

The only question is...how much is "ground pay?" Half the hourly rate? Quarter rate? $25/hr? As long as it's something to disincentivize waiting at the curb for the van, insanely early van times due to station manager laziness, etc.

Basically, the company can now waste our time as much as they want without penalty. It's time to change that. Our time is far more valuable than Delta treats it. When we're doing anything company-related on a trip, we must be on the clock.
I'm not necessarily arguing against it. But that's exactly what credit and rigs do. It does incentivize the company to build productive trips. I don't see the point to make it excessively complex.

My tone is meant to light and half in jest. I know we live in a world where we as pilots for the most part are self serving. No one is looking our for you but you. I don't expect anyone to check reserve coverage for my benefit, but it would just be nice to get a GS everyone once in a while. It can be frustrating to see a possible GS go out on a WS, but that's the game. But it's also the game if I get 1, maybe you can get 2. In the end, if ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry Xmas!

Nope, not junior at all. I guess you didn't read the rest of my post. Are the 3,4 and 5 greenslips in your category going to lineholders? Because we're not talking RES greenslips. Anyway, I'll save you from reading my post again. Go ahead and GS all you want, just don't be giving any guff to anyone who whiteslips.

The rig doesn't cover time wasted waiting for pickup or too-early van times in the morning. It doesn't take much to experience 20-30 minutes per day wasted there, and it comes out of our personal layover time, not out of the rig. Those minutes add up. If the company has to pay something for that wasted time, it won't be wasted for long.

Anyone know how jetway trades would pay? I know the company isn't going to allow someone to give away the penalty lap and both dudes get 5.15.

Second question if you flew one leg back from a layover and waived the 12hours for the next report, how would that pay?

I am just trying to wrap my head around this.

As someone else mentioned, why GS if no coverage? You should GSWC only. By your greedy GS request you are costing someone a GSWC. How dare you? See how foolish your reasoning is?
If we had a GS availability list similar to the reserve availability list it would be easier to sharpshoot whether a GS or WS request was the better option. We have computers these days that would be able to spit out a list like that. Wouldn't be that hard to do.

I am guessing it would be the same setup as the flight attendants. You only get paid for what you pick up.
