I have a question about when you have a regular line with spillover flying into a reserve month. Do you get paid for the spill over flying, and then reserve pro-rata for the remaining days, or does the portion of the spillover in the reserve month go toward your monthly guarantee? Trying to find it in the contract but having trouble figuring that out.

Looks like we all got a .55% pay bump today as well. Busy day!

The spillover portion is applied against your reserve guarantee. More bad news...if there is any credit in the trip, it is applied on the last day, so it also goes against your guarantee.

Good news.

Hopefully this will not get rolled into C15 with a massive discount for the company.

Even Deadhead credit?

No. Only "soft" time. If the DH operates in the REG month you will get paid for it (check your time card for the month in question). Anything that operates on the spill days into a RSV month plus all soft time will offset guarantee.

Soft time = Credit (ie ADG, DPM, 1:2, 1:3.5, etc...)

My bet is that not only will it get rolled into C15, it will be part of the larger Global protections.

Kinda like the pacific deal a year or so back, except global.

I hate to see financial rewards for us with this grievance as we would be "selling out" our jobs. If the flying is 1% off then the company should have to reduce all JV flying by 1% immediately. Something along those lines, non compliance should have specific punitive action associated with it.

DPM pays on the day to which it applies.

Agreed. There is no dollar amount that can be attributed to the QOL hit that most of the union took here. The flying should be recovered, AND a financial penalty imposed. Can't make up for what we already lost really though. Violating the contract should be a big deal. We will see what happens.

I don't understand. Why would it be a discount? Is there some history behind that?
