Thanks.....
Best thing is to read the PBS Gouge. You can put them all on one line, and they will all have the same priority, and PBS uses its various logics to pick one.
Or, if you want you can put them on separate lines if you wish to prioritize.
Or, we have a fairly recent enhancement (May of last year) called "Pairing Number Departing On" where you can put lots of individual pairing numbers and their departure dates on the same line (saves lots of typing and separate bid lines). You can also choose to put a priority left to right...or not.
Again, the PBS Gouge explains it all.

If you used the trip#/depart on date bid preference and check ordered...it should award L-R if you can hold one of them.

I did "award pairings if departing on May 8 if pairing number 1,2,3,4,5,etc". 1 went senior, 2-4 junior, 5 senior, 6-8 junior, 8 senior, 9 junior and awarded 10.
You might have learned the hard way
Cuz most of us have our own and really don't want to share a headset with all the germs! And I'm on the 75/76

If I am reading it right, you didnt use the pairing depart on date which is a fairly recent option. You select rotations with the depart date and you can select ordered or not. I think the way you bid it wont preferentailly order them.

CDO's were not buildable until we removed our max duty day limitations in the FAR 117 LOA. Now we literally can fly to FAR limits. The LOA initially included cut-out language allowing CDO's to pay less than 10:30. That language was removed due to line pilot complaints. It was assumed there will not be very many CDO's based on the high pay to block hour ratio.
For 10:30 each I'd be OK with CDO's as they were codified in the LOA. At 7:30, not so much for me.
Not to change the subject but I just finished doing the quarterly CQ and am scratching my head at what they talk about in it versus what has come down as guidance for pushing back from the gate and entering WDR numbers etc. It seems to me in the CQ cd that they want us to vigilant and not be distracted during pushback because it is a high threat maneuver and yet I feel like the guidance that has come down recently has said go ahead and put numbers in during pushback. I don't do that. I either put them in before pushback or after we are stopped with the brakes set and receive the wave off.
Just curious what others think. I will continue to do it my way!

Award Pairings If Pairing Number Departing On (Ordered) A065 On May 10, 2015, A065 On May 11, 2015, A065 On May 12, 2015
Tried to trade a trip (swap with pot) starting on 23 Apr for one starting on 24 Apr. Both 4-day trips, nothing funky, no issues with capped reserve dates. There are two days with min reserves, but both trips cover both days = a wash.
I got denied with the message, "Not allowed until next month's scheds are released."
I get it if these were spillout trips, but neither one is.
What am I missing?
