In addition, available comfort+ seats are also released 24 hours prior and you may now select one of those for free.

As departure time approaches keep checking for comfort+ availability, particularly if there are first class seats showing available because medallion customers that get upgraded to first class tend to be holding comfort+ seats that now become available to you! Don't wait too long because an hour prior to departure you cannot select/change seats online. Within an hour of departure you *might* be able to ask an agent to switch you to a comfort+ if you see that there is one available, before they start assigning the non revs.

Of course you may never select a FC seat but you may use delta.com to get on the upgrade list for FC ... behind a gazillion medallions of course. But at least you will be PSUP so you are ahead of all the S2s and S3s.
BUT...have you heard about the newest non-rev killer:

SDSB?

That is the new HK, the 'Same Day Stand By' ticket holder.

They are the ones who buy the cheapest fare, on the latest (cheapest) flight, but show up early to the airport and Stand By for an earlier flight, the one you thought was Wide Open. They get on right after all the HK's, and ahead of YOU!

Looks like no more ATL-DXB. Not sure why, that thing was stuffed to the gills every time I flew to/from Afghanistan.

Good morning,

I finally got the Delta Fix it email, after having my app in for 3 years. What's the average time frame to hear anything further if they decide to bring you for an interview? Thanks.

I applied Oct '14, got a "fix it" 6-8 weeks later, was called in March for a LATE April interview. Check out the Poolie Thread for more gouge on timelines etc.

Good Luck.

Reserve month to line holder guys beware! Had five reserve days at end of month followed by line holder the next month starting with three days off. I flew a four day on reserve leaving one reserve day at end of month. I thought I was golden. Checked my schedule after 4 day and they gave me another four day eating my 3 days off at the beginning of my line holder month. I called laughing saying you must be mistaken you took me into my days off as a line holder and thats 12 days on. Haha. Take it off.
They said haha you're doing it.

We can take all your days off and you have a 31 hour overnight in the middle so you can be gone all 12 days.
