At this point "average" might be better than the concessions being leaked.

So what you're saying is if the TA is chit chat bad we can wait and go to an arbitrator who will bring us up to an average contact.

:D

That's what's happening in SoCal. The local little leagues out here are starting to have problems fielding enough teams because kids are opting for lacrosse and soccer.

honestly I was bored to death playing little league baseball.

don't know much about lacrosse. Shiz does.

Vote no all you want. You'll end up getting what an arbitrator decides is best, not what you want. A judge will give you "average", not "historic".

Explain exactly how we get in front of a judge or an arbitrator? Binding arbitration requires both parties to agree. A judge would only become involved during BK.

Me too. I was the kid in right field looking for 4 leaf clovers and batted 8th.

I'll look at any TA. If it is concessionary, I'll vote no. I can live with the current contract and associated profit sharing for as long as it takes to get a non concessionary contract. No need to rush into a concessionary contract. Absolutely no reason to panic. I too will be at the LEC 1 meeting Jun 1 and will ensure my reps know this too.

You're singing my song... I caught a fly ball to right once, the entire team mobbed me.....

Both our boys, 12 and 9, decided to skip baseball this year for the first time in at least 5 years. They're both playing spring basketball. They're done with little league.

Basketball will eventually make a come back... as football dies.
