Ok just had a friend in ATL text that the rumor about the noncontract employee pay raises will be announced tomorrow and it was put out by the ATL CPO. Apparently it was told to a pilot group at one of the roadshow meetings in AMS.

So the only other employee groups payrates that I can verify is the flight attendants. If they get a 14% raise they will be 20% above their pre-giveback rates. We are still about 18% below. Too funny. Must have been some money left on the table, or they don't ever expect to actually negotiate a new contract with us.

Will management change the FA'a pTIX definition, like they were trying to do to us?

Anyway, if true, good for the FA's. That's a lot of kitty litter and Fancy Feast. Maybe it will allow them stop pillaging FC meals to bring home to Miss Fuzzy.

Pay package officially announced. Didn't the forum say the company would not grant a early raise to avoid 3b4?

Now that the October bid is out...can I pickup now off the open board to add time to my schedule or do I have to wait until the 20th?

Thanks in advance...

You will have to wait until the 20th. If you are in a short staffed category you might want to sit back and wait for a premium trip. Double pay is better then straight rates. Reserve availability can ce checked now for next month.

That's what I thought.

I think that was one of the options that was discussed. The Company did this to achieve three things. To put a stop to unionization activity, avoid 3b4 being triggered, and to poke a stick in our eye.

Actions such as this may have unforeseen results. While I don't begrudge anyone good fortune, I think this will have the effect of galvanizing the pilots.

You have to wait until the 20th to pick up off the open time board, but if pilots have anything on the swap board as a straight pickup you can grab that immediately.
