This practice is so wrong.
I now fly two four day trips back to back, one day off followed by my newly build five day trip.
Priceless
They just did this to me...the trip now goes into my vacation week. Is that allowed? Did i really just lose a vacation day?

Exactly.

If they need to cover RJ flying we shouldn't give them relief on the TLV. They can leave what they can't cram into the current TLV in open time and cover it with GS's in the short term and go back to hiring 100 a month to cover the flying for spring/summer.

It's going to be interesting to see how this goes in the summer time, with the retirement numbers kicking into high gear this year at every major, and the regionals struggling to fill classes. They made this mess. And they're going to have to write a big check to get out of it. Make that two checks; one to us, and one to Boeing/Airbus/EMB/Bombardier for more airplanes for mainline to fly.

And I have to laugh at the guys who said they are going to be refurbishing 50 seaters. I mean, those are going to be really nice static ramp display models. I hope they got a good deal on parking

I agree, no TLV relief. How do we make sure our reps don't Donatelli us like they did with the JV garbage they crammed down our throats this summer?

No mention on the new AQFO name change to LVP? Seems a LOT of LCP time is going to be lost, especially was we hire so many a year. LVP are cheaper than LCPs.

Is there a limit to what they can do with spillovers? I had my spillover from the last bid extended a day. Can they extend the one I have this month from a 5 day to a 6 day? (no 6 day trips on the 717).

Also, does anyone know if there's a cutoff on when they can make these changes? I guess it's in the PWA somewhere... or maybe not.

Yes! Email or call your rep and tell them No LOAs for increasing TLV. But if they want to give us a two year contract extension in exchange for a 20% pay increase and temporary TLV increase I'm open to idea.

Scheduling question:
- Can you finish a flying rotation the same day you're supposed to P.S. to ATL for CQ? In other words, Day 3 of a trip is also Day 1 (travel day) of a CQ training pattern.
- If so, how would that pay? Normal trip + the CQ hours combined?

No. Training is pre-posted in PBS, and it won't let you overlap a rotation with the training footprint.

I suppose an exception would be if you get rerouted or delayed into your CQ travel day...but it's not something you can bid.
