Can anyone tell me which line items to add up?

Annual compensation” for purposes of the profit sharing plan, means an employee’s
30 gross earnings during the profit sharing plan year, including any sick and vacation pay
31 (whether paid by the Company or from a disability and survivor trust), but excluding: a)
32 expense reimbursements, b) expense allowances, c) income required to be imputed to the
33 employee for any reason pursuant to federal, state or local law, d) profit sharing awards,
34 e) earnings from any other incentive compensation program, f) Company contributions to
35 a retirement plan, g) disability payments, h) income from the grant, vesting, exercise or
36 sale of Delta stock or Delta stock options, i) income relating to, or resulting from,
37 bankruptcy claims, notes, or other securities, j) medical plan payments and k) severance payments. In addition, annual compensation for the purposes of the profit sharing plan
includes pilot furlough pay.
unless you need pin point accuracy.....add flight pay and advance flight pay.....close enough

Actually I think that pretty much is pinpoint accuracy.

Now we need to run a pool at what we think the PS percentage is going to be.

I'm taking 22.5% (only a guess because I have no idea whatsoever)

Good idea. I spoke with a scheduler about a different topic and as an afterthought I asked about conflict and IA robocalls. He asserted that it was impossible to get a robocall with conflict, since all conflict assignments are done manually. Don't know what the problem was, but I know for a fact that at least 2 of the 7 or 8 trips on the robocall were a direct conflict with my 1st rotation in January. Trip is still in open time, but obviously calling about it would've only showed my hand and subjected me to trips I didn't want to fly.

The domicile layover was not part of the original rotation. As it turned out, you do get removed from the trip as a reserve when a domicile layover occurs even if you are on a GS. Turned out to be a good deal for me, apart from the 12 hour rolling maintenance delay which finally ended in a canceled flight and another overnight in MIA. But because they had planned for me to have a domicile layover, and thus be removed from the trip, they reassigned the Austin penalty lap (via another GS) to someone else. So I just flew an empty plane back in the morning and went home

You can't just call and ask for a trip with conflict. They have to follow the coverage sequence. Someone senior to you likely had GS with conflict requests in the system. By the way, the robocalls do not necessarily look to see if you are legal before calling. I have had it call me as I was driving home from just finishing a trip.

That was the 1st time I'd ever gotten robocalls that had conflict. The 1st scheduler I spoke with told me it was impossible to get robocalls with conflict, obviously he was incorrect as I got several more throughout the day. At least now I know for next time. For me it was a win/win. Either get a GSWC or enjoy NYE at home with the family. Good deal either way.

21.4% is the current puzzle palace number.

Work performed in December 2015 is paid January 15th, 2016. Is this pay used to calculate 2015 PS (paid Feb 2016) or 2016 PS (paid Feb 2017)?

Obviously, if it is used for 2015 PS, you'd have to pull out flight pay from Jan 15th, 2015 pay statement.

Confusing enough? Happy New Years everyone!

Just go to your 12-31 pay statement and add your flight pay and flight advance that is what your PS will be calculated on.

Question for anybody based in sea, living in Pdx. I hear that there is a DAL hotspot to go if you are on short call reserve. I assume it's a diner or something have way to sea on I5? Anybody know?
