Thanks for the recon and well thought out response. I am right there with ya and I don't think we need to be giving up anything. Have a great weekend brother.

I'm happy you could even read it. I typed that whole thing out on my iPhone, while walking running on the treadmill, trying to work off the wings I just ate.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend too, bro. & good luck to us all. Let's kick some butt. :D

He also said if they deadhead and get assigned a middle seat, there is some kind of extra pay added as well.

What my friend at United wrote in his blog http://renewedpilot.com/2016/02/04/l...or-the-winter/ was this:

"Our contract has very specific rules about deadheading. For a deadhead to a layover, the scheduler must confirm the reservation in the following order based on availability: aisle, window, middle seat.

If we are forced to sit in a middle seat, we earn 1.5x pay for that segment."

and he said this:

"Our contract states that if we deadhead to a working assignment, we must be booked in first class if available at the time of ticketing."

Sounds kinda nice...

"If available." When was the last time you saw a seat in FC available?

At the time that the DH reservation was booked/ticketing? All the time - almost every flight. The DH reservations are made as soon as you're name is on a rotation with a DH. You just add your name in TravelNet.

Of course the flight goes out with FC full, but that's because of upgrades at the gate. Look at the gate information screens, you'll see empty FC seats, that they then fill 30 minutes prior to departure.

I did. My PB days were from 2015. Just APD first. After the trip is dropped call CS and tell them you want to use your PB on your APD.
Just be careful. You have 3 PBs. If its a 4 or 5 day trip keep in mind that all the credit is on the last day, so your PB only covers block.
Now, if its a 3 day or less you are good.
For me, I used my last 2 PBs on a 4 day trip that was front loaded with block, so it paid me 13.5 hrs.....
