Absolutely insane. I was hired Oct '14 and could've held NYC 88a, NYC 765b, or NYC 330b. Great time to be here.
Looks like backfills happened damn near EVERYWHERE. Amazing. |

+1. I don't understand how anyone living on the east coast cannot be absolutely enamored with what's happening at DAL right now. Us west coast kids have to wait a little longer. .
Looks like backfills happened damn near EVERYWHERE. Amazing. Did you see the LAX 777/A? TON'S....Crazy. Baja. |

I'm an Oct 00' hire and there isn't a single Capt slot I can hold that I would want. 717A and 777B are both 7500 in LAX. There's the true seniority. Who would commute across country to fly an 88? Not me. Happy to keep 'moving on up.' ROR is hopefully in my future...LOL.
Baja. Just because it's your trash doesn't mean it's another bro's treasure. Let's be stoked for those opportunities! |
I hope for their own sake those junior 88 captains live within driving distance of EWR, JFK, or LGA. Unless they get out via a new category they just bought 2 years on reserve covering 3 airports. No way they'll be able to get out of NYC. If he/she lives there, then good on 'em!
I see they're current NYC 88b, so they probably know exactly what they're doing. |
