Did he also buy your beers on the trip? Better watch-out..pretty soon you'll be getting all butt-hurt over your landings in Europe, and I heard the van rides can be over an hour long..but I'm sure you'll wait to call everyone a tool until after they've taken you out to dinner.

To the untrained eye, those engines are all GE. But then the reversers deploy to display the petals that can only be derived from Snecma. Can't wait to...well deadhead on one. haha.

If I want to drop a trip using a PD, do I PD all days of the trip or just 1? It's a carryover trip, will that be processed before the 22nd? Thanks in advance!

Those are the highest thrust version of the CFM56 available- 33,000 lbs of thrust. They've got the shark tooth-y thing going on at the core exhaust.

Just drop the first day of the trip and the whole trip will be dropped.

If you PD all the days of the trip, then you are locked out from doing anything else on the last few days of the original rotation. (if you want to pick up WS/GS that is)

POST 1:

For starters, if you are on a regular line, and you want to drop a trip via the Personal Drop, you don't "drop just one day"--you put in a personal drop request, and if it is granted, the entire trip drops.

When you say "drop just one day" you are referring to an Authorized Personal Drop (APD). That is a whole different animal than a PD.

Also, there is nothing special about the 22nd of the month when it comes to PCS requests. You might be thinking of the 20th when the first PCS run for the next month begins.

You should also put in a Swapboard "Pickup" request and see if someone takes your trip via that venue--another way of accomplishing the same thing.

POST 2

If a pilot drops a trip via the PD, he can white slip or green slip over those days any time he likes. Again, you are thinking of the APD.
