Quick scheduling question for the experts about an out of base white slip. Are they only for non-qualified trips? Or can you pick up a Q trip with an out of base white slip?

Another scheduling question....

I am trying to PD (also listed on the swap board), a 5 day at the end of May which starts on the 29th. I just noticed someone also has a drop up for a trip that starts the same date, but it is 4 days instead of 5, which I would like to pick up/SWP. Will SWP process two Qualifying (Q) trips in a swap? Reserve coverage is black for all the days involved, and they start on the same day except that my 5 day is a spill and the 4 day ends at the end of the bid period. Will SWP work in this case?

No. Swapping for a Q trip requires adequate reserve coverage on all days of the trip you are giving up.

Q trips are removed from the pot the day prior. You can only OBWS the day prior so the trip will be gone.

I've got a training/schedule question. I was awarded an upgrade last AE. The training conversion list came out and said July training/Aug conversion. Today I got a note in Icrew saying they pulled my July vacation for a training conflict but when I look in my VTS file, it shows my vacation is gone but doesn't show any training scheduled yet. Has anyone gone through this, and how long after this notice did you find out your training schedule?

Also, who do I contact to get my vacation rescheduled?

Thanks, E

I found out when I start training by looking at the PBS calender website. Click over to July.

Vacation- rebid via Icrew the 2nd option in the vacation options

If you are on a short term Mil leave, you can bid for an AE just like everybody else. If you are on a long term Mil leave, you can pick any base/seat combo awarded to a junior pilot while you were out. The specifics on number of days and notification prior to returning from mil leave are detailed in the Mil leave guide. I knew where it was on Deltanet yesterday.

Look on the crew resources page under the Vacations tab, there is a phone number to call. They can move your vacation to something that is available in your new category. She was also able to tell my training dates. Once they move your vacation you can try and change it thru the move up process if you don't like what you get.

I don't think so but depending on how long you're out on mil leave you can pick any aircraft you can hold.

There's probably some restrictions with that though....
