Its actually quite an interesting psychological study.

tsquare/benderrodriguez/jamesbond participates in the discussion for a few weeks but then starts posting argumentative nonsense in nearly every thread. The posts come faster and faster and become more and more pointless. Suddenly --

BOOM !!

tsquare's head explodes. He vows to leave this place forever and then disappears for a few months until he comes back with another new screen name.

Rinse and repeat.

I'll predict alfaromeo/falcon7's imminent reincarnation also.
He hates that people can so easily figure out who he is.
Apparently the only thing he hates more is that little wave goodbye that Bartels gave him after the MEC showed him the door.
Well played.

Do we just have to go to the service counter and get our boarding documents or is this just my excellent luck with Delta IT? The warning message also said show up at least 3 hours early. 3 hours seems excessive and I'd like to hear if this is a legit disclaimer.

Thanks!
You can't put in the passports, it's not you. Check in 90 minutes prior and you should be good. At least in SLC where it's not busy

Long time lurker, first time poster. Sorry if I'm being obtuse, but I want to be sure I stay out of trouble.
How soon after calling in "healthy" can I resume nonrev/jumpseat travel?
Same day, or next day?
Thanks in advance for your expert assistance.

Returning home from Europe: 3 hours is legit. Find the right check in area for your flight home and have everyone with you. Keep your passports with you while at the airport, they get checked a few times. Dress well, it makes a difference in how you're treated. Most airports over there have decent food, feed the fam after you're through security. Have a great trip and be safe!

Only other gotcha is to make sure all your passports are valid for at least 6months from anticipated return to/from certain countries otherwise you won't be able to check in either. If your unsure about your country your flying to, check the link on travel net that gives visa/passport info for countries visiting.

When I got the 3 hour message once with online checkin, this was the problem, and it pretty much put that trip on Kibosh on that trip as you can't renew a child passport without jumping through some serious hoops.

We made it 4 x first class . Apparently part of my issue was I only booked a 1 way trip. The system did not like no return leg. Red coat who helped me check in passed me that info. Now back to my vacation!!!

What's with the 717 APU's? I'm batting 50-50 so far this month (this month being July)
