You need to check frequently because it will show up at some random time and then usually goes away before the awards are officially published.
Exactly, it is no longer showing for me, so hopefully the "official" schedule will be out soon.
Here's a little glimpse into the hectic world of 717B. I volunteered for a 2 day GS that perfectly fits my criteria. I got a call 4 hours before sign in from CS congratulating me for now being on a 5 day GS instead of 2, please call back to acknowledge...
After I had my conniption fit in front of my wife I settled down and called ALPA. They weren't sure what to do with this so I took a few more deep breaths and called CS to explain why that wasn't going to happen. To their credit, I spoke with a very friendly person who was very accommodating and reverted the trip back to what it was when I signed up for it. I asked her if that meant the second I sign-in I'd get rerouted into what I just told them I wouldn't fly. Different divisions: crew tracking vs. crew scheduling so she couldn't make any promises other than that she wasn't going to talk to them and make the suggestion.
This brings on a follow-on question, can you be rerouted into 3 extra days of flying? I thought the max was 1 day if it was within the company's ability to get you home on that extra day. If it matters, I'm on reserve flying on X/PB days.
Thanks!

"A reserve pilot will not be rerouted into more than one duty period that originates after the end of his originally scheduled rotation and extends into either an X-day or a regular line day-off."
So looks like the worst they could do, barring a major WX or MX event is give me one extra duty period into a 3rd day.

Thanks for the reply. I decided to get into the PWA and figure out exactly what the verbiage is, here is an excerpt from 23.10:
"A reserve pilot will not be rerouted into more than one duty period that originates after the end of his originally scheduled rotation and extends into either an X-day or a regular line day-off."
So looks like the worst they could do, barring a major WX or MX event is give me one extra duty period into a 3rd day.

On the 2nd point you're incorrect, they can add tag-on flying to reserves anyway. While looking for the 1st excerpt I found another which specifically allows tag-on flying for reserve pilots. Too lazy to do another search and get the section again
