Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
THIS IS MY UNDERSTANDING of how it was explained. I HAVE NOT personally worked the math myself.

Which is just wrong on so many levels! Think about WHO was actually damaged by Delta NOT flying the required amount of wide bodies across the ocean. It's NOT the guys who did fly our wide bodies across the ocean for the past 4 years, it's all the guys who were stuck on narrow bodies NOT upgrading to international wide bodies to do that flying.
You can keep mine cut and give it to an MD88 F/O who has been stuck on that thing for the past 4 years, Lord knows he's earned it!

Here's some pretty big news that is under the radar.

They are huge in Newark (CAL's big hub), why spread your self thin between there and JFK? Newark is nearly as close to downtown NYC as JFK is, and if they want to feed their international hub in EWR, why serve JFK?
They also have a huge operation at Dulles, I don't think they need JFK.

Someone is live blogging the ATL road show on FB. It's hilarious! MD is in trouble on his home court. I mean how much safer can you be in PTC, i.e. Koolaideville!

I had to leave 3 hours into the meeting, there were still speakers lined up but energy seemed to be flagging. Overall, it was far more incendiary than I expected Peachtree City to be...but keep in mind there were 400 people there, only about 10% of ATL pilots, they weren't all hostile, and don't necessarily represent an accurate cross-section so I'm not going to read too much into the reception. That said...if PTC was rough...can't wait for NYC, DTW, and MSP!
