Superpilots need Superchick flight attendants. From Austin, Texas even.

Heyas Bar,

The upper wing inspection on the DC-9 is a ground ops job. If you're in the "potential ice" window, call to ops, and they do the check. Most stations KNOW what the window is, and do it without asking, and will simply come up and say what the result is.

They've been trained, and the DC-9s have tactile stripes that work with the pole they use.

And we didn't "have to give anything up" to get them to do it, either.

How long is training for a 320 A pilot to go to 330 A? Or 320 B to 330 B?

Because if its short, and if the A330 sim time is an issue, can you not put people through a 320 course and then a differences to the 330?

I don't know if it's changing with the merger, but in the past NWA has typed all FO's for international augmentation so I don't think that would work. Although I think it's a common type so now I have NO idea! :p

I'm sure Nu or iceman49 can give an accurate answer.

I mostly have weekends off and work weekdays, so in my experience all of Delta's FAs are no less than 10 years of seniority... until this holiday week. I did not know we had 22 year old FAs!? And some of the other FAs that I flew with I could only classify the way we classified them in college: "trouble." :D ;)

The A330 and A320 do not share a common type rating.
