My point exactly. The office spaces et al are easily accessed unlike last time. Plus most of the people that interviewed last time are still here and still up to speed. Point is that we could do it in two to three weeks if they OFFICIALLY decide to hit execute.

Mostly conjure and a great way to network! It is interesting that this came out though. I just think that the posting is a error on someone's part. The words are not written by DAL. It is horribly worded. If you look back over the last three years most of the things talked about are starting to come true. MD-90's DC-9's 742 getting parked ANC closing GUM as a possibility (BW admitted it) NWA merger stopping hiring looking at a furlough decision not to furlough LGA deal JFK terminal deals (publicly talked about by RA after the fact that T-8 was an option) Other strategies I totally understand that most pilots time lines to not mesh up with that of DAL. Near term to us is a month or two whereas to a corporation near term is three to five years. Lot of the items on here appear to be conjure and false at the time because they are in the near term to the company not to us. Look back at this thread in 2015 and realize how many of the items being talked about over the last 18 month are a reality. JFK 777-300 C-Series or another 100 seat jet MD-90 744 parked defined plan for narrow body replacement leadership change at DAL C2012 et al DCI and their evolution. Just pointing out that most things that come out here generally happen in some form. Just not on most people's time lines. Point taken.....I am just doing it for my own sanity because I found myself going on these highs and lows;) But, the thought of hiring gets me riled up...Bring it on boys! |
