We are proudly recruiting pilots for first officer positions. As a new Delta first officer, you have an opportunity to initially be assigned to a MD88/90, a 737NG, or even a 757/767 aircraft type among our fleet of more than 440 aircraft.
That's considered updated?

I agree, but doing that at departure time will get you a few off days to think about it.

(I always have some sort of food in my go bag.)

Just a little history input..........I actually laughed about this with the agent involved that morning.

Just to be clear, Pink Floyd didn't get in trouble for going to eat........he got introuble for flipping off the agent. Big difference

That's what I was thinking Bar. I think it should read more like a chance to be assigned the DC9, MD88/90, or DC9. ;) :p

Its updated in the fact that they're accepting updates and applications. Until recently that wasnt an option. ;)

but you're right the real choices will likely be md-88 and dc-9 when it really does start :D

Our deal was that there should be sufficent time between flights to allow the pilot to get something to eat...if you found yourself with no time between flights(because of unforseen circumstances), it was understood that you would go and pick something up, even if it meant a slight delay...I never heard of any one getting hammered for it. Perhaps it had something to do with our on time reliability. Ferd maybe able to add more....

Wow, sorry for the late post........I just read forward the 20 or so pages I was behind and realized how out of topic I was.

Let me jump in on the Basic Indoc bid..........old guys rule, you young guys could never teach that class properly:D:D

Ahh.. much more reasonable idea. Somehow I knew you were a bit too bright to stake any money on a plan that even remotely relies on the city government of Detroit :)

The city of Detroit can't even plow all the streets when it snows. Whenever I think of the really cheap houses there, I think of my drives through Detroit and remember, the nice houses aren't going for $1000.

Ice, dead on. You are never introuble for stopping to eat.

It's been years, but as I recall Pink didn't like "what" the crew meal was (wanted hot breakfast and it was cold or vis versa). But, I always used to tell the agents in LAS I was headed downtown (when only going to Starbucks) and asked if they wanted anything. Anyway, like I said, I got the agent it actually happened to one morning and got the other side of the story. Too funny. I never met Pink Floyd, but those who had were not supprised by what happened.

Once again, LAS had nothing to do with going and getting something to eat................as usual there is always more to every story.

Well boys, time to put the bling on the double brested (had it parked in the NRT laundry the last 12 days) and get ready for the deadhead home. 13 days and 5 Saipan layovers are enough for even this guy. Maybe I won't fall over 100 pages behind next time.

Seeeeeeeee Yaaaaaaaaa
