For the Delta-S pilots, is there an alternative to the DPP plan with Fidelity that only allows us to choose from the 100-125 stock investments and blended fund investments? It was my understanding that some people in the past have elected to pay an additional yearly fee so they could have a larger list of investment options with Fidelity. I was looking for more mutual fund options than we are offered.

Am I just dreaming or is this possible?

The pilot careers website is a little conflicted. The first page says we’re not actively hiring, but the "Delta pilot basics" link says we are "actively recruiting." So are we recruiting, but not hiring?

Also, it looks like this pages was the same page they had up from when we were hiring 18 months ago. It has the aforementioned type discrepancies (no NWA planes,) and also mentions a fleet of 440 aircraft. We now have over 700 mainline Aircraft (closer to 750.)

Richard, Ed, Steve, - are you guys reading this? If so, tell I.T./recruiting to fix that page.

:)

Ok, lets see if it changes in a few days again....

A trusty FOM or two is, and it will probably fixed. These other pages are old. The front page has been changed about three or four times in the last week to a better and better legal working of the current state.......

Thank God I know lots and lots of lawyers :D

We have a full brokeragelink available outside the core plan that allows you to invest in just about anything through Level II options trading. The applications for a brokeragelink account are on-line, or you can just call Fidelity at 800-554-0262. There are some restrictions on transferring from "competing" funds into the brokeragelink, but those are annotated with in the fund list on NetBenefits.

Just don't "invest" til it's gone!

If you open up a BrokerageLink account (free) you can invest in virtually any stock, bond, cd, mutual fund, options etc. You can do that up North too, as far as I know.
