LCA bidding question: Is there a way to bid LCA rotations greater than 2 days on the same bid line? There's no "if" statement option following LCA.

I could put "Pairings greater than 2 days" followed immediately by "LCA" but that could hamstring the computer if it needs to finish my line with 1 or 2-day.

Thoughts?

Just click the container with "award if LCA," then scroll down to pairing length and click that container and change the drop down to > 2.

It took me a while to realize you could check multiple containers on one line. I think you can used up ton 5 or 6 on one line if you wish.

Second question. So you can't schedule your back end deviation until you check in. What if the flight oversells before you check in? Will it still allow you to book on it or are you out of luck for that flight.
I just did that, twice - first time scheds said paperwork had to be submitted by the line check guy - that was wrong. So I waited until the O.E. student showed - then the scheduler had to speak to the line check guy directly. Second time in middle of a six day Scheds said they had to speak to the line check pilot, I gave him the phone , got released and was booked on the next flight to my base (it was oversold) it was done automatically once I was released . The line check pilot said there was no requirement to talk to scheds - but being the middle of the rotation there was no automatic release. Be proactive with the line check pilot , never got the same answer even from a supervisor in Schedualing

Worked like a champ. Thanks crewdawg.

You don't generate sky miles credit on FCFEL but do on FCFL.
Confirmed for less gives you Sky Miles and indeed is therotically refundable. But just like a normal Delta passenger "fare rules may vary." In my experience it's not worth the miles. On one occasion I had to change the outbound when my kid got selected for a once in a lifetime nationally televised music performance. The change fees exceeded 50% of that particular leg, but here's the really bogus aspect: the change prompted reissue if the entire round trip, and the good deal fare the pricing had been based on was no longer available. Approximately $280 RT turned into $850. So I decided to tell them to pound sound ( in the words an employee can get away with) and decided to standby outbound and use the return Fly Confirmed For Less as originally issued. Turns out that's not allowed! Turns out, if you don't board the first ticketed flight, the balance is invalid. Imagine trying to get out of Florida during spring break after having your positive seat jerked! It was a nightmare! Not to mention money down the drain. I think I got a $120 refund. And an additional $300 penalty in the form of unanticipated hotels. Spousal wrath and impact of kid missing school: priceless! So the additional 5% savings between the Fly Confirmed categories is good money in your pocket vs. too much risk in case of change and the points are an easy bypass, since the program is much less generous than it used to be and the points expire. Fly Confirmed for Even Less is your friend, always resulting in a slam dunk best price in the market, no matter how hard you shop rival carriers on Expedia or whatever. There's nothing like knowing you're going to get there, especially when there's money at stake ( cruise, condo, hotels, etc.) or simply precious family experiences that can be recalled in a fond way .... or not. I highly recommend FCFEL!

So is the personal side of the S3 not really your personal side? I tried to install a few programs and they want admin login credentials to complete the install. Chrome installed without admin privileges but not everything else is. Any workarounds?

Is a person able to swap with the pot one (5-day) trip for two (3-day/2-day) trips?

If so, does a person put both requested (Add) rotations on line #1, or above/below each other on line #1/#2? Thanks.

If you put both requested trips on line #1, you will get the swap only if you can be awarded both of them. If all the trips cover the same footprint it shouldn't be a problem unless the two requested trips don't have legal rest time between them. I'm not sure what that is and I'm too lazy to look it up...

If you put the two requested trips on different lines, you're telling PBS you want the trip on line #1 as first priority OR the second trip on line #2 as second priority; you won't get both that way.

In the first case, if the footprints of the trip you're trying to drop and the ones you're trying to pick up don't match, reserve coverage will come into play.

I just used 3 payback days to drop a 3 day trip. If I WS that same trip, it effectively pays double, correct? Just want to make sure I'm not going to work for free.
