Update: After having to call this morning to get "unlocked" I logged out correctly. 2 hours...I locked out again. They "have no idea why"

I would use the min credit preference if you truly want as small an initial schedule as possible for the month, and for no other reason. Bidding min credit could result in a junior pilot getting a trip you want, and that would otherwise been given to you along with the resulting higher line value for the month.

The only way PBS will give you a reserve line instead of an otherwise possible line is if you else start next before a reserve bid. The system assumes any legal line is preferred over reserves unless you actively make changes to the assumption.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from the min credit. It does nothing to help you get a line and may do exactly as you post above.

Ask me how I know this.

Suggestion: After your bid group with the min credit preference, copy the bid group and paste it to another bid group below your first one (and before your reserve bid group) and just remove the min credit preference.

Ive said it before, and Ill say it again. Some of what RA did while he was CEO will come to effect us negatively in the future.

Asia, mainly the Japan NRT reduction decisions are already starting to show negatively.

You can see from the article and if you read between the lines, ED is not even sure if the draw down of NRT was a good idea.

DL/NWA was a beast in Japan. We had the loyalty, business and support. I get it times change but RA's decision to vacate the area so quickly and not play "nice" with the Japanese has created a region with no seats for Delta Air Lines.

IT looks like we are lost and we are trying to reestablish ourselves by partnering up with Korean and China Eastern.

This is sad.

Didn't you forget to put the part about an "Else Start Next"? What good is a second bid group if there's no trigger to make the process move beyond the first bid group? You'll get ravaged by SLG otherwise.
