Alex, I'm gonna go with "What is The Princess Bride" for $800.

Pass benefit changes announced

On Deltanet, one of the news items is a change in our pass benefits.

Nothing Earth-shattering; currently just some changes to the fees.

Any strong opinions/insights about the changes would be appreciated as I haven't used them much.

Now I wish there were something they could (would) do to improve the chances of actually getting on an airplane. (don't bother asking for anything that would cost money...not going to happen in the current environment outside of negotiations)

Quick question about new hire seat and base lock.

I understand the seat lock is now two years (unless a new category comes into the base), is there also a base lock as well for a set period?

Thanks!

No such thing as a "base lock" at Delta.

Thank you. Had heard that the base I got with the aircraft I chose would be my base for the duration of the lock. Glad to hear notice case!

You can try to change bases as often bids come out, if you're not changing equipment or seat.

Who the heck told you that?

Keep in mind the aircraft you get initially *can* indirectly limit your base options. Want to be in SLC? The 73 or 320 is a better plan than 88 or 717. Maybe that's what they meant when they told you that?

Does anyone know if a "vacation slide for idiot pilots" type walk through exists?
Tank you berry much
