I know that the pay over the guarantee is from the X day - in this case day 3 of a trip.

But what about trip credit. For instance a 2 leg 3 day trip will pay 15:45 with all of the credit normally put on the last day. So for this scenario would the GS pay all of block time from day 3 plus the trip credit?

Thanks Scoop

I haven't done that but I believe it is correct. If you have a 3 day GS with only the first day being an X day then you only get pay above guarantee for the block hrs flown that day. Therefore you should get the credit on the last day.

I agree you would get trip credit IF this was trip credit. I'm thinking it's ADG... Depends on what type of credit it is...

Scoop, I'd call Dalpa and see what they say.

I am not an expert on RES GS rules, but how could you be awarded a 3-day GS if the first 2 days of the trip were on your ON CALL days?

Wouldn't skds split the trip 2/1, give you the first 2 days on RES, and then skds has 2 days to find a victim for day 3.
.
What am I missing?
.

They award the trip as needed. 3 days maybe all to you, or perhaps less if they can break it up. They will try to break it up to minimize credit, but if there is no availability .... roll that thunder.

Need some clarification from you guys. I screwed up my June bid and have been trying to do some repair.
I'm a line holder on the 88 and am trying to swap with the pot for a commutable trip. Current trip signs in at 0715 on 6/25 and is released at 0801 on 6/28. I have another 4-day that signs in at 1809 on 6/29.
There is a trip in open time that signs in at 1545 on 6/25 and I would be released at 1400ish on 6/28.
Why won't it assign me the trip, what am I missing?
Thanks

If you're doing the look back, you need 30 hours off in 168, and from this it looks like you'd only have 28.

That was my initial thought but I had a 4-day and a 3-day back to back last month with one 28 hours "off" during the 4-day. Called scheds and they said it looks at the previous 168 at sign in.

Ok. Thx for the clarification

Rules auditer will tell you. 30hrs off in 168 is my guess.

I'm trying to bank a bunch of hours this month. I put in a request to bank 20 hours and it only awarded 4 hrs. Does it only bank hours when you are over a certain threshold? What is the rule on this?
