Res question. 30th was a res day, but am full. Oct 1 res day new month. When can they use me on first? Cant really figure out where in PWA to look.

Is it like a day of Res after an x day (cant use me till 10) or just another on call day where they can usr me any time they want?

2nd is a gilden day, obviously Im hoping to get first off.

You have no obligation to the company on the 30th. They need to give you 12 hours of rest before any assignment. Noon. Sorry, no contract reference.

2.A.178 (Page 2-17) Looks like your "Full" day would be a non-fly day.


23.S.2.a.5 (Page 23-54) 10 am report if following a non-fly day (unless that non-fly day is a vacation day (Note 2))


23.S.6 (Page 23-56) 12 pm release from on-call duty since it's a reserve day followed by a golden day.


Looks like you'll be on the hook for those 2 hours between 10 and 12. So if you don't see anything on your schedule by 3pm Eastern on the 30th, then you're off the hook. Might want to email ALPA scheduling to make sure. Also,

23.S.1.f.5.Note 2 (Page 23-53) You're last in line for short call (scheduling's discretion) since it's a lone reserve day followed by a golden day.
