When CS runs the rules auditor prior to assigning a GS, do they account for 100/672 down the road? For example, if I have 45 hours of block in the past 300 hours, there is a 15 block hour GS available over the next 72 hours, and I have another 45 hours of block scheduled for the subsequent 300 hours (which would bring my total to 105/672), would CS pass me on the GS?
Thanks |

You have to be legal for the trip based on your past flying and projected schedule. In the case you mentioned you would not get the trip.

Hey guys,
Anybody have any experience with, or know of, Dr David Altman in Chicago? If so, please PM me. Thanks in advance. It's really convenient if you can catch an appointment on your way to work or on your way home, right there in the terminal. It's not a gimme though. He's not tough, but I have a friend who missed 6 months of work at Eagle, right when he needed to fly his butt off and save up for his flow to AA, for a little hiccup on his EKG, which turned out to be nothing. But he had to go through all kinds of cardiology tests and such...a pain, but not the Dr's fault. He is a good guy and he will do what he can to keep you in the air. Keep him in mind next time you need a medical. |
So in the flight ops update today, did that mean they're announcing the next EFB in 60 days or they will finally decide on it in 60 days...?

I took it to mean they will announce we are going with the iPad for our next device in 60 days if the current testing goes well.

Can someone post the memo? Just as I was reading the first sentence, my Surface 3 made me load a Defender update, restart, re-sort my Control Panel page, switch from IE to Edge, and sacrifice a goat. TIA.
"Switching gears to the EFB itself, I want to provide a quick update on the deployment of SIM cards and cellular service for the Surface 3. Flight Operations is currently evaluating the next device to replace the Surface 3, and I expect to make this decision within the next 60 days." |
