However a reserve CANNOT fly on a PD day...yes, a personal drop...can't fly on a APD for either line or reserve. Edit: once a reserve personal drops a day, ya can't go back and try to pickup anything that day. No takebacks...even if there's later a sweet trip with 30 hrs in your hometown. Went out as a greenie to someone later, so at least there's that. |
Well......yeah.

If we could PD as a reserve and then fly over that day reserves would PD enough days that CS could not use them and then pick their own schedule.
They could only do it if there were excess reserves, basically for the entire month, and would be saving the company money if they weren't successful and breaking even if they were. And its a pretty big gamble anyway that would rarely work out for most on a full month to month basis. You could maybe leverage it into a net win, assuming all the stars lined up perfectly, by rolling thunder (sort of) but if that worked, then by definition pure rolling thunder would have worked too and that's way more consistently lucrative, and without the smattering of one days and SC's that (supposedly) commuters now have to be in position for :D |

Consolidation Refresher
What does the training footprint for a "consolidation refresher" course look like. Not going to make the 100hrs in 120 due to a leave of absence. They talk about in the instructor guide, but I can't seem to find how many training events it is.

Anybody have any experience with, or know of, Dr David Altman in Chicago? If so, please PM me. Thanks in advance. |

When CS runs the rules auditor prior to assigning a GS, do they account for 100/672 down the road? For example, if I have 45 hours of block in the past 300 hours, there is a 15 block hour GS available over the next 72 hours, and I have another 45 hours of block scheduled for the subsequent 300 hours (which would bring my total to 105/672), would CS pass me on the GS?
Thanks |
