Can any DL folks chime in on the seasonal ATL-ANC run? I've been seeing plenty of open seats on those flights but wondering what AC they run that with and if they get into weight restrictions?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Bonus, if you are on a block trip and overblock by an hour on leg 1 but underblock on leg 2 by an hour, you still get an extra hour of pay.

I know I'm old school(or just old) but why aren't you young guys and gals not picking the brains of the Capts you're flying with? I'm amazed at some of the things that FO's don't know who've been here a while. Most Capt's have been here long enough they can share some good gouge on the contract, PBS, etc...
You could ask the capt and get answers all over the board. Then of course it is followed by a bunch of unsolicited advice on everything from how to land to finances. I'll stick with the forums.

The beauty of the Forums is that they are normally self correcting and when bad info gets put out - it is usually corrected very quickly.
Nothing wrong with an all of the above strategy:
Post a question of a Forum.
Check the DALPA Scheduling Reference Handbook
Ask fellow crewmembers
And if you are really desperate - but not serious, have a law degree and know how to speak in "Wheras" you might even try the PWA.
Anyone catch the hidden song reference?

If,.for example, the 2 hour difference (19:00 BL/21:00 TTL) was solely based upon 2:00 of rotation credit (see 12.K), then you would have to overblock by 2 hours and 1 minute to see the total credit increase past 21:00 (same as ADG)....unless your overblock is on the last leg and extends you past the scheduled block-in time of the original rotation whereby you will kick in rotation credit (1:3.5 as described in 12.K) to the tune of 1 minute for every 3 1/2 minutes you exceed the scheduled block-in for the last leg.
There are numerous provisions that can account for the 2 hour difference (ADG, deadhead legs, 1:2 duty rigs) so it is a hard question to answer without seeing the actual rotation. However, a 21:00 hour rotation is likely based on ADG as mentioned above.

I just looked at it, only one flight per day, today it's a 757 but later in the month it goes to a 767-300 (domestic, not ER) that seats around 260. I flew it years ago and don't ever remember being weight restricted on that leg. Good luck!
