If you go that route, at least look at the labels. They have been selling a central/south American parallel brand that almost looks the same.

We announced a new route yesterday that will generate over 40 pilot jobs and almost 3000 pilot block hours per month and not a single mention of the flight on any Delta thread. If this route had been picked up by China Eastern it would have rated its own thread and 20 pages of posts. We truly are a forum of doom and gloom only. We also added LAX to MEX.

You might have a similar-Ish resume. But the app is not about the resume, you need to stand out from others.

I would recommend to talk to some of those friends and take a look into their app. Make your own, get airline apps LOR from different people that talk about you other than been a pilot.

Get your app reviewed by a company like Emerald coast, aerocrew solutions, etc.

Set yourself apart from the heard. I started indoc Nov 2015, put my app in as a Guard F-16 guy in early 2013. Got hired with Skywest in 2014 and was an FO with them for 9months. Had a background in firefighting from the military and took a job as a city firefighter and quit Skywest thinking that was my future because I had not heard from a Major in over a year, I was however still flying in the military. Was talked into updating my app in March of 2015 from some Delta Bros and had some buddies do the internal rec that month. Got the email 3 days after they sent the rec and was interviewed in May 2015.

In the interview I was hounded on why I quit flying for Skywest and was honest telling them I was looking out for my families future and was not sure i would get the call from a Major and worried about the stability of a small airline . I may be the anomaly, but I think when most of my answers had to do with dealing with ****ty situations outside of flying they enjoyed hearing them.

I guess my point is that no on really knows, unless your in the inner circle of hiring, no one knows what they are looking for. I still have bros that were way more "qualified" on paper in the military asking me how I got hired before them. My guess is they are looking for a certain personality traits ect.. They know your a competent pilot just as all the civilian guys i fly with, some of the best in the business with years of great experience.

I hope you get the call soon , because waiting just sucks and I did it for 2 years. Feel free to PM me with any questions and I expect full on spears from the peanut gallery, starting to crawl right now because they are coming

Your talking about a route Delta flew for years and is now resuming. It's not a "new" route.

I know Sailingfun has a big target on his forehead, but it is pretty much a new route. Or if you like a "revived dormant route". Or an abandoned route rediscovered. Just words.

What he said is true. It is good news. It helps the staffing and gives the ATL guys something else to bid. (You know it is all about ATL pilots.)

What he also failed to mention was we actually tried the route two other times. We never got within a country mile of making it profitable. This will be the first time we feed it from both ends and it's expected to stick.
